CONSUMER TRANSACTIONS 

NOTHING HEREIN CONTAINED IS INTENDED TO AFFECT NOR WILL IT AFFECT A CUSTOMER'S STATUTORY RIGHTS UNDER THE SUPPLY OF GOODS AND SERVICES ACT 1982 AND THE UNFAIR CONTRACTS ACT 1977 ANY AMENDMENTS THEREOF. 

1) ESTIMATES 
An estimate given for the repair shall be provisional and will be subject to variations of the price of parts or materials between the date of the estimate and the date of repair. It will also depend on further work or parts which are found to be necessary - Subject to the conditions overleaf on further work which is required. A change may be made for an estimate. 

2) VAT 
A VAT shown on the estimate is at the rate in force at the time the estimate was prepared. The VAT charged on completion of the repair will be at the rate applicable at the time. 

3) RESTRICTIONS 
The repairer reverses the right to refuse to carry out any repairs on the vehicle which in his opinion, he considers to be unroadworthy, or work which make the vehicle unsafe. He may refuse to carry out work which might have a detrimental effect on other parts of the vehicle. 

4) COLLECTIONS 
The company will only release the vehicle back to the customer after all the repairs are completed unless it is requested by the customer to release the customers agent. 

5) STORAGE 
If the vehicle is not collected, or arrangements are not made for its collection after completion of the work has been notified in writing weekly storage charges at the rate applicable at the time of expiry of the said notice may be imposed as if the vehicle has been left for storage. This may also apply if authority to proceed is not given within reasonable time of the estimate having been submitted. 

6) PAYMENT 
Unless other arrangements have been agreed, all repairs must be paid in full before collections. Unless a cheque is supported by a bank card, the repairer may not release the vehicle until the cheque has cleared.

7) LIEN 
The repairer has the right to hold a vehicle after the completion of its repairs until such time as the account is paid in full. 

8) UNCOLLECTED GOODS 
The repairer may exercise his rights as regards uncollected goods under the torts interference with goods act 1977 and if the goods are not collected when the work is completed or before any notice that effects expiries, the repairer may proceed to sell the goods subject to any notice under the act. In the event, the vehicle will be sold at best market price and after deductions of the costs of the repair, plus other charges and expenses in comes from the sale, the balance will be returned. 

9) SUB CONTRACT 
It may be necessary for the repairer to sun contract all or part of the work to another competent repairer.

10) REPLACEMENT PARTS 
All parts replaced, other than those for exchanged for replacement parts or those subject to a warranty claim, become the property of the company unless the customer requests their return prior to commencement of repairs.

11) PAINTWORK 
Where new paintwork is required and the metalwork is found to be rusted, every possible reasonable precaution will be taken to prevent such rust penetrating after completing of painting, but not guarantee can be given in the respect. If partial paintwork is required. Every endeavour will be made to match the existing colour scheme, but no guarantee can be given of perfect colour match at this time or after. 

12) DELAYS 
The repairer will do his upmost to complete the repair by the date and time requested, but cannot accept responsibility for delays resulting non or late availability of spares, or other reasons beyond his control.

13) LIABILITY 
(a)
The repairer will take reasonable care of the vehicle in his custody. The duty does not extend to the items of personal property or business goods left in the vehicle. Customers should therefore ensure that all valuable items of personal property or business goods are removed from the vehicle prior commencement of repairs 
(b) Whereby agreement with or on the instruction of the customer the vehicle is left outside the repairer's premises. Before or after normal business hours, or an unfenced part of said premises, any risk or loss or damage somehow occur will be the customers responsibility. 

14) GUARANTEE 
The repairer will guarantee all repair work against failure due to faulty materials or workmanship for a period of 12 months or 12,000 miles whichever occurs first, providing that the vehicle is taken back to, or third party repairer authorised by the Repairer, This does not seek to alter your statutory rights.

 

Terms & Conditions of Sale/Parts returned for Credit. 

Accepting delivery of goods detailed in this invoice is acceptance of Terms and Conditions of sale.

Reference to the franchise or supplier of each part is indicated as Make, indicating Parts that may not be genuine factory supplied parts. 

Cash prior to Delivery (Unless other lease, hire purchase or credit account arrangements are made) 
(a) All prices are quote ex our warehouse, delivery packaging insurance etc are extras 
(b) All prices are current at date of Quotation are subject to change without further notice 
(c) All prices quoted will include VAT unless appropriate certification is supplied from the buyer 

Any items or dates quoted for despatch or delivery, following our acceptance of your order are based on receipt by us of full and final instructions enabling us to process uninterruptedly with the work. We cannot accept responsibility for any delays due to cases outside of our control. 

Extra charges will apply to specially procured items.

This transaction shall not be subject to nor incur any claim, action or liability of any nature.

All claims for missing or damaged items must be made to our company within 24 hours of receiving goods, We do not accept any responsibility for loss or breakage of goods in transit. Credit will not be considered unless goods are returned in original packaging and in a saleable condition. 

Original invoice number and must be quoted. Credits may be allowed at our discretion only upon the following conditions. 
(a) Items with a value under £5.00 are not refundable 
(b) A 15% to 25% Handling/Re stocking fee may apply to items approved for credit return 
(c) Electronic items, electrical items, goods especially procured or non stock items ordered at your request and are not eligible for return or credit. NO RETURNS accepted after 21 days from date of supply.
